What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable when you visit Greater Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church. Some members dress traditionally in suits and dresses, while others come in business casual or casual attire. Come as you are and join us for worship!

What does a typical Sunday look like?

Our Sunday mornings are centered around worship, fellowship, prayer, and the preaching of God’s Word. Sunday School begins at 7:45 A.M., followed by our main worship service at 9:30 A.M. You can expect uplifting music, a welcoming church family, and a Bible-based message.

Is childcare provided?

Please contact the church directly for information regarding childcare and nursery availability during services and ministry events.

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early, especially if it is your first time visiting. This allows time for parking, greeting members, and finding seating comfortably before service begins.
